A letter from the president

Hello!

My name is Morgan Esworthy and I have the amazing opportunity to serve as Chapter President at Kansas State’s Alpha Chi Omega. I hope that this website gives you a glimpse into the values that represent all Alpha Chi Omegas. When I went through formal recruitment, I was hesitant if I wanted to join a sorority. Looking back, I would have never thought this chapter would mean so much to me. Alpha Chi is my home away from home, my support system, my friendships, and my passion. Going into my freshman year of college, I was unsure about the qualities that I wanted to grow in and if a sorority could fill those aspirations. During recruitment, the women gave me a sense of comfort and it felt like I had known these women for years.

Now I have a support system of 90 women who are always there for me through good times like our sisterhood retreat to OSU, football games, and many runs to get sonic happy hour. These women have helped me get through hard days like when I am home sick or a hard day at school. I can confidently say that though every emotion that college experience entails, an Alpha Chi has been alongside me to comfort, encourage, and support me.

I would have never thought 1835 Todd road would be my home away from home. When I walk through those front doors, I am blown away with the amount of compassion, loyalty, support, and kindness. Alpha Chi Omega has shown me how to be a real, strong women each and every day. The women of Gamma Zeta are always striving and challenging themselves to be the best versions of themself.

Thank you for taking the time to explore our website and learn a little bit about what it means to be an Alpha Chi Omega and why I call love to call it home!

Loyally,

Morgan Esworthy, Chapter President
